Repurposed Panels

This series started with the repurposing of new, unused sample cabinet doors! The center panel is the painted surface and the frame is created with the edge trim. The edge trim is often sanded and refinished to allow the natural wood grain to become more visible. Recycling materials is the motivation, there is an organic connection between these paintings and the wood surfaces.
